Council Tax Benefit is Changing – have your say

Local people are being urged to take part in a consultation on a major change to Council Tax Benefit.

The government’s announcement that it will be abolishing this benefit in its current form from April 2013 will have a direct impact on thousands of Huntingdonshire residents. Pensioners in receipt of Council Tax Benefit will be fully protected by government, but working age claimants will be affected.

To view the proposed scheme and take part in the consultation online, please visit the HDC website at:

www.huntingdonshire.gov.uk/benefitchanges.

Drop in sessions will also be held, should you wish to talk to a member of the team at:

    Tuesday 25th September, 9am – 1pm
