 An extraordinary meeting of Kings Ripton Parish Council was held at Kings Ripton Village Hall, School Lane, Kings Ripton, PE28 2NL on Monday 23rd September at 2pm.

Present:    Councillors Mick Toates (Chairman), Brian Petre, Ros Townsend (Vice Chairman) and 2 members of the public.1.                APOLOGIES

There were no apologies.

2.                DECLARATION OF INTEREST

None

3.                PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

The chairman suspended business to allow the public to speak. Mr P Rayner and Ms R Rayner discussed with councillors their planning application and answered questions.

The Chairman resumed business.

4.                PLANNING APPLICATION 1301213FUL

The council discussed the planning application and RESOLVED to reply as follows:

The KRPC recommended APPROVAL of this application as it will help grow the applicants business, provide secure storage and the area will be screened.

                    The council discussed the planning application and RESOLVED to reply as follows:

Regardless of the 2 revised layouts KRPC stand by their previous refusal dated 26 Sep 2012 as it is clear that this application will cause significant additional traffic through Kings Ripton village. If the developer proposed an agreed traffic calming measure in conjunction with the County Council and KRPC then KRPC would reconsider this application.

                    Date of the next meeting was confirmed as Tue 01 Oct 13 at 7pm in the Village hall, Kings Ripton.
