Upcoming Parish Council Meeting – Tuesday 18th October 2011
The next Parish Council Meeting will be held on Tuesday 18th October 2011 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the village hall and the agenda will be posted on the village noticeboard a few days prior to the meeting.
All parishioners are welcome to attend. The meeting agenda will include an open forum giving you the chance to air your views, questions or concerns.
Queens Diamond Jubilee Event – planning meeting 4th October 2011
A reminder that the meeting to plan the celebration event for the Queens Diamond Jubilee will be held at the village hall at 7.30 p.m. on October 4th 2011.
Please come along with your ideas to make this a village event to remember. Everyone welcome.

Halloween Party Saturday 29th October 2011
Saturday 29th October is not quite Halloween but Kings Ripton will be ahead of the game with a spooooky party in the village hall.
You don’t have to don your fancy dress but there will be a prize for the best costume.
There’ll be food available but please bring your own booze.
We’ll give villagers more details nearer the time.
From eight til late – everyone welcome.

Warning to villagers – theft of tools
We have been notified of an incidence of theft of tools from a workman’s vehicle this week. The vehicle was parked outside a residence in Kings Ripton on 12.9.11 and the van was emptied of tools whilst the workmen were working inside the house.
Please take care to secure any vehicle and it’s contents when you leave the vehicle unattended, and you may wish to advise visitors to do the same.
The police have been advised of this incident.

Diamond Jubilee Event – Meeting on 4th October 2011
